Why Should You Opt For Tubular Fencing?
Posted on: 7 February 2020
There are numerous options when it comes to installing fencing around your property. For example, you could choose palisade fencing, mesh fencing or wooden fence panels. Whether you are looking for a fence that will make your home more elegant or one that will help to ensure your business premises remain secure at night, tubular fencing is a good choice. This is because tubular fencing affords certain benefits that you can take advantage of. What are they?
Plenty of Different Sizes
To begin with, tubular fencing is made from multiple sections of metal that can be cut to the desired length with ease. As such, your fencing contractor will be able to produce fences for you in any height you desire. So, if you want a high fence that would be impossible to leap over, tubular fencing will do the job. Equally, if you want a low-level fence — to install at the top of a brick wall, for example — then one can be made to your exact specifications, too.
A Robust Choice
Like other forms of metal fencing, tubular fences are extremely durable and robust. They can do a similar job to conventional railings but can be installed with all of the ease of normal fencing. Because the material they are made from is strong, it is virtually impossible to kick down or knock over one of these fences. What's more, you cannot cut through the fencing as you might be able to do with chain-link fencing or mesh. In addition, tubular fence components are often galvanised, which means that the metal section of tubing they are constructed from will not rust. Therefore, you can leave them outside, exposed to the elements for years on end, without needing to worry about them.
Easy to Maintain
If you are happy with the galvanised finish most tubular fences come supplied in, then there is zero maintenance to consider post-installation. However, if you choose to have them painted, then a re-coat every four or five years is all you will need to consider. Another option, if you have a particular colour in mind, is to have them powder coated instead. A powder coating on a metal fence panel will give a very even finish and protect it from minor scratches and even dents as well as providing a maintenance-free solution. Tubular fences can withstand harsh environments, too, so you don't need to worry about them being destroyed by fires or even repeated exposure to sea spray, which are key things to consider depending on where in the country you live.
